Most of nervousness of first time test takers comes from that they do not know how he will reach his table, what papers will look like, why they require you to arrive one hour before the test, what is candidate number? and lots of questions in minds.
IELTS is a very well prepared exam, you have to remember this word, they deal with each detail with excellence.
- it is better to go before the test day to check where your hall will be located and how much time it will take o reach it from your home.
- on test day when you arrive, you will see your candidate number every where you go, on the entrance, on the checking point, and on your examination table. keep it.
- there is a place for your luggage and personal items, as you are allowed to just bring pencils, pens, eraser, transparent bottle of water, and your ID. watches, wallets, bags, papers,.....etc will be left on the luggage area.
- then some personnel is checking your ID and looking at your face to make sure that you are the same person, then he will make you sign beside your information.
-some centers ask you to bring two photos for you, but if they did not tell you then they follow another procedures to pic a photo for you and take your finger print.
- you enter the hall and sit on your disk with your name.
- again they will check you and your identity and you will have lots of time to relax before the exam starts.
- i do not know if every place makes so but some offers free pencils, erasers, and water upon request.
- the test is just the same like the preparation series IELTS 1 till 12, first start with listening, then reading, and lastly writing. speaking is in another date.
